Rules

21+ ONLY・ Act like an adult, and be treated like one.

WE ARE AN IMMERSIVE VENUE・The First Harvest is a venue focused on immersive, heavy roleplay. Please keep OOC chatter to party chat and tells, and refrain from any 'trolling' behavior. Allow yourself to be steeped in the intrigue of the city, and do not contribute to distractions.

WE ARE A SFW VENUE・Our venue exists to explore the high and low society of Ul'dah, and is not for ERP or sexual activity. Please keep any potentially scandalous dealings private, and not on hotel property. Besides, you wouldn't want any untoward rumors to start. The Whisper Maiden of Ul'dah has ears everywhere.

BE PATIENT, BE KIND・ We are playing make-believe at our computers and game consoles. This is not a place to hash out external drama.

NO BIGOTRY OR HATE・We do not stand for racism, homophobia, ableism, islamophobia, or bigotry of any kind. If you are hateful or belligerent towards other players, you will be asked to leave or ejected by the owner.

NO VIOLENCE OR WEAPONS・The safety of our clientele is paramount. Any patrons engaging in combat will be asked to leave by security. What you do outside is up to you, but within the First Harvest's walls, all are welcome, and protected. We are a hotel, not a fight club.

OOC =/= IC・In-character interactions are not indicative of OOC interactions. Know that characters and players are different people.

NO GOD-MODDING・If you think your actions might affect another character, send them a tell and ask first! Roleplay is about collaboration.

DON'T BE A JERK・ We reserve the right to eject any player for behaving in a way that makes others uncomfortable, or is upsetting for any reason. Don't be a jerk.

Example

Here is a very barebones example of the process. Feel free to be more creative and descriptive.Navaluk has decided to make a Rolanberry tart, comprised of Rolanberries (Produce), Maple Sugar (Sweets), Gelatin (Monster Part), and Sunset wheat flour crust (Grains)After carefully slicing the Rolanberries into equal width pieces, he places them into a pot to cook down into a jam
/Random 8
You roll a 7 (out of 8).
He stirs in the perfect amount of maple sugar, then moves the pot off the heat before it can burn
/Random 4
You roll a 2 (out of 4).
Before the jam can fully cool, Navaluk mixes in gelatin to thicken the filling.
/Random 20
You roll a 10 (out of 20).
Once the filling reaches the right thickness, he pours the mixture into the prebaked crust. Then moves it into the icebox to fully set up.
/Random 6
You roll a 2 (out of 6).
Navaluk's total rolls equal 21. The dish is edible and with the two of a kind bonus, his total score is 26!

ITEMS TO BE AUCTIONED

Thank you to our sponsors and guests for their generosity

Karasu single malt Doman Whisky
Donated by: Emerick Ashiir

Aged for 55 years, the deep amber whisky boasts an impressive complexity and depth of flavour, thanks to it being aged in white oak casks. With only some hundred or so bottles having been produced, the bottle is sealed and wrapped in handmade cloth, constructed from bark fibers of plants found deep in the heart of Koshu's many dense forests. The exact recipe for the whisky is known only to the reclusive family that crafted it, just as the weavers of the fabric have held their exact designs close. Rare to find beyond the borders of the once isolated Hingashi, many are the rumors of the whisky, but ever elusive are its actual bottles.

Vintage Necklace
Donated by: Eos Xavalien

Before your eyes is but one physical example of what craft and talent generous benefactors' coin will be fueling on this eve. The piece is a refurbished necklace, cast in brass and bronze and adorned with amethyst rhinestones, restored when partaking in a goldsmith apprenticeship which ended at the completion of this exquisite piece. If the look itself is not enough to tempt, then its history of belonging to the most trusted of handmaidens and servants to the late Ala Mhigan King - Theodoric I - will certainly garner the attention of enthusiasts and peerage alike.

Wooden Scepter
Donated by: Asp, On behalf of the Magpie

A tall, worn scepter made of out pale wood with a carved fan at the top. Though the paint has faded, it looks as though the staff was once adorned with reds, oranges, and yellows, the colours laid overtop the raised ridges of flames that lick up the length of the staff. The buyers notes guarantee it to be one of the few remaining canes belonging to the Belah'dian worshipers of the Temple to the Sun Goddess, known to current scholars as the Sunken Temple of Qarn.

Delicate Tinctures
Donated by: Yelena Vsayle, of Vital Vials

A beautifully blown and designed aquamarine crystal glass spritzer bottle, with a golden filigree spray attachment. A beautiful piece in and of itself, usually used for perfume or scented oils. However, this one has been filled with a neutralizer of most poisons. A simple spray over your food, and even the most paranoid of Uldahn’s citizens can rest easy knowing that THIS meal will not be their lastWarring: Tincture may cause side-effects.

Labradorite Pendant
Donated by: E'lithas Tamsin, of Saltblite Holdings

A necklace made of pristine silver links with a stunning cut of labradorite that casts a glamour upon the wearer to make them appear at the most attractive state of their youth.Upon purchase of this item a missive from the original owner will be given.

Ceremonial Chalices
Donated by: Min Estrel, On behalf of the Order of Nald'thal

A pair of intricately engraved ceremonial chalices made from Belah'dian silver using smithing techniques that have been lost to the ages. The rumors that whoever drinks from either chalice begins hearing whispers of portents, both good and ill, from a chorus of ethereal voices are entirely unsubstantiated.
